If any key is touched when the emitter is in standby mode, there will be a
short beep and the standby screen will appear for 10 seconds.
The emitter can be locked from Standby (see page 57 of this manual).
If there is a power failure or the emitter is disconnected, it will always remember the previous op-
erating mode, the temperature and the status (Standby / Operational and locked / unlocked).
The day and time will be saved when it is disconnected from the power supply for up to 10 years,
depending on the button cell battery life (replacement cell CR2032).
When the button cell is depleted, a small backup battery can save the day and time with discon-
nections of up to 1 minute. However, with longer disconnections, the day and time must be entered
again according to page 54 of this manual.
IMPORTANT: To guarantee your safety, it is recommended to contact an authorised electrician to
replace the CR2032 button cell once it is depleted.
Daily and weekly program is never lost when disconnected from power for long periods.
5.3 SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE
In all modes except Manual, the Modes menu is displayed by touching the
Mode key once. If you are in Manual mode, touch the Mode key twice to
access this menu.
In this menu, the desired operation mode can be selected by p and q keys.
To select and enter the mode touch the OK key.
The emitter will return to the previous operating mode if Mode key is touched,
or after 30 seconds without touching any other keys.
In each of the operating modes the screen will automatically switch the dis-
play between the current time and the day of the week.
5.3.1
COMFORT
In Comfort mode the temperature is directly selected using the p and q
keys, between 12 °C and 30 °C in steps of 0.5 °C. If the keys are held, the
temperature changes faster. When the temperature reaches either the max-
imum or minimum value it will stop.
Typical comfort temperature is 20-21.5 °C.
The Comfort mode is normally used during the hours the room is occupied.
