7.1.2.13 Machine parameters – stitch length setting
Seam monitoring by the JUKI SADE is fully based on stitch counting. However a stitch
length value has to be entered for reference. Unless the stitch length setting is automat-
ed, this value will have to be set manually for production or data in any way. Once the
set-point has been reached, there is no alternative but to heal back and end the seam;
the stitch length will be automatically set before each production cycle.
The SADE software calculates the length of the pre seam, safety seam and post seam
according to the set stitch length multiplied by the amount of stitches.
