TrainMaster Command Control (TMCC) operations

F
or best operation, your VISION baggage car should be assigned to a Train. The following
sections explain how to create a Train using a (blue) CAB-1L remote. Before proceeding, be
sure you have assigned your baggage car a unique ID following the instructions on page 3 of this
manual.
CAB-1/CAB-1L Train vs. Engine Addressing
When using a CAB-1 or CAB-1L, you should primarily control your VISION baggage car via its TMCC
engine ID. Assigning your baggage car to the middle or rear position of a Train via a CAB-1-style
remote will play BRAKE sounds from both the head-end locomotive and the VISION baggage car.
However, the baggage car is not intended to play dialog when addressed by CAB-1L in a Train.
Instead, operate the head-end locomotive either as a Train or an Engine, and then directly
address your VISION baggage car as an engine to trigger the various passenger scenes.
Note!
It is not recommend to set the TMCC ID of the VISION baggage car to the same TMCC ID
as the locomotive, nor to assign it as a FRONT engine of the Train. Undesirable operation
will result.
