Never soak/drop the batteries in liquids such as water, seawater, soft drinks, juices, or coffee. 2.6 Battery replacement For battery replacement, please contact ADJ customer support. 2.7 Do not use a damaged battery The battery may be damaged as a result of shock or impact during shipping. In the event that the bat-... - Page 9 B A T T E R Y P R E C A U T I O N S 3. BATTERY STORAGE During storage, the battery should be stored at room temperature with a charge of at least 50%. ADJ recommends that during long periods of storage, the battery be charged every 6 months. Doing so will prolong the life of the battery, in addition to making sure that the battery charge does not fall be- low the 30% mark.

I N S T A L L A T I O N There are two possible installation methods for this unit. X-Clip Method: The unit includes an X-Clip to allow installation from drop down ceilings. Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping during operation. Always ensure that the structure to which you are attaching the unit is secure and capable of supporting at least 10 times the unit’s weight. -
