4. Assembling the machine

Re-assemble in reverse sequence.
Please bear in mind that existing washers are to be placed in
the right places. Their loss would lead to damage.
The movable cam ring (390) for the gear head has to be
installed so that cams of the same form are facing each other.
When the cam ring (390), which is in mesh with spur wheel
(370), is worn replace it by mounting the cam ring next to it
and fitting the worn cam ring in its place.
The cams on the spur wheel can be edged again by regrinding
their faces.
When re-assembling the machine pay special attention to the
following points.
i.e. the 2nd cam ring be fitted in such a way that the toothing
of both cam rings is aligned when they sit close. Clutch ring
(395) must be slipped on with its long collar side and fitted
disc (396) pointing in the direction of the machine head.
Final check according to section 2.
