Dynamic DNS
Dynamic DNS is dynamic domain name service, which is to map the user's dynamic IP
address to a fixed domain name resolution service, allowing you to use a fixed domain
name (host name) to host a server (Web, FTP, etc.), instead of remembering dynamic IP
addresses that may change from time to time.
To use the Dynamic DNS function, go to "Advanced Settings à Dynamic DNS", and follow
the steps below:
1.
Turn on Dynamic DNS.
2.
Select a service provider (currently only NO-IP is supported).
3.
Enter the Name, Password, Host Name (domain name).
4.
Click "Save", and please wait 2-3 minutes to save the settings.
NO-IP: Dynamic DNS service provider, through NO-IP's DDNS service, can build a
dedicated VPS.
Note: Before setting up DDNS, create a DDNS account and purchase a hostname on the
service provider's website, and then set up DDNS on this interface.
