III. HOW TO USE THE DEVICE
1.
REGISTRATION
In order to register devices in one repeater, follow these steps:
1. Connect RP-3 to the power supply socket.
2. Press the registration button on RP-3 – the control light no. 3 is flashing, the control light no. 4 lights up
continuously.
3. Press the registration button on the transmitting device (e.g. C-8r or C-8rm sensor, room regulator etc.).
4. Once steps 2 and 3 have been performed properly, the device animation will change - the control light no. 3 will
light up continuously and the control light no. 4 will start flashing.
5. Start the registration process on the receiving device (e.g. external controller/Wi-Fi 8s / ST-2807 / ST-8s etc.).
6. If the registration has been successful, the receiving controller will display an appropriate message and all the
control lights on RP-3 will be flashing simultaneously for 5 seconds.
NOTE
If control lights 3 and 4 light up continuously after the registration has been started, it means that the device
memory is full (20 devices have already been registered).
NOTE
It is possible to cancel the registration process at any time by pressing Cancel button and holding it for 5 seconds.
In order to enter factory settings mode, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold Cancel button for 10 seconds - the two outermost control lights will start flashing.
2. Press Registration button - all control lights will start flashing.
NOTE
In order to cancel restoring the factory settings, press Cancel button.
NOTE
Remember to pair with the repeater only those devices which have a signal problem. The range may get worse
if you register devices that do not require a better signal.
