4.12.6. Windows 2000: Sharing an ADSL connection in an
Infrastructure network
Proceed as follows for each computer that will use the shared Internet connection:
Hercules ADSL2/2+ Wireless G Modem Router
1. Click Start/Settings/Network and Dial-up Connections.
2. Select the connection to the local area network
corresponding to your Hercules Wireless G device.
3. Right-click the connection and select Properties.
4. In the Local Area Connection Properties window, select
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
5. Click Properties.
6. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window,
select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain
DNS server address automatically.
7. Click OK to close the windows.
Windows may prompt you to restart your computer.
To access the Internet, you can now simply launch your
Internet browser.
