Description
For all server models except the HPE
SimpliVity 380 Gen10 G and the HPE
SimpliVity 380 Gen10 H, the Accelerator
card is installed in this slot. Both indicator
LEDs on the card emit solid green contin-
uously to indicate normal operation.
Note: The HPE SimpliVity 380
Gen10 G and HPE SimpliVity
380 Gen10 H server models
use software-enabled dedupli-
cation and compression and do
not support an Accelerator
card. For Gen10 G and Gen10
H (LFF only), PCIe slots 1 and
2 are available. For Gen10 H
SFF, slot 1 is used for the
E208i-p Boot Drive Controller
and is not available.
For all platforms except Gen10 H SFF,
this slot contains the Boot Drive Con-
troller (E208i-p). For Gen10 H SFF this
slot is utilized by the SAS Expander.
10 GbE FlexLOM (SFP+ model shown).
Dual USB 3.0 connectors enable you to
connect a USB device, such as a mouse
or keyboard.
Dedicated iLO5 management port.
Optional Secondary PCIe riser (requires
second CPU).
Embedded 4-port 1 GbE LOM. Note that
this feature may not be available based
on system configuration.
Use to connect a VGA monitor for local
access.
Optional serial port connector.
Dual Power Supplies for HA power (800
W auto-sense or 1600 W 220V).
Redundant (RAID1) 300 GB Boot drives.
