D. Assembly Procedure
1. Center the burner assembly inside the fireplace or
firebox. Make certain that the front of the burner
assembly sits inside the front edge of the fireplace or
the firebox. Burner assembly should be as far to back
of box as possible.
2. Anchor holes are located on the right and left sides of the
front bracket attached to the engine base. After centering
the burner assembly correctly, mark the holes on the
fireplace or firebox floor. Drill two (2) 5/32" diameter holes
in the floor of the firebox. Anchor the two anchoring
screws shipped with the unit using Phillips head chuck
and secure the burner assembly to the fireplace through
the holes drilled earlier.

WARNING
You must secure the gas log heater to the fireplace
floor. If not, the entire unit may move when you
adjust the controls. Movement of unit may cause
shifting of the gas logs which leads to sooting and
improper burning. Grate movement could cause a
gas leak.
