SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!
Consult a doctor before starting an exercise
programme. This is especially important if
you are over 35, or have health issues. Read
all the instructions before using exercise
equipment.
• Pay attention to body signals. Incorrect or
excessive exercise can have an adverse
effect on your health. If you experience
chest pains, irregular heart beat, nausea,
dizziness or shortness of breath, stop
exercising at once and consult a doctor
before continuing.
• The equipment must only be used as it is
intended to be used, and in accordance
with these instructions.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds
to the rated voltage on the type plate.
• It is the responsibility of the owner to
ensure that all users of the equipment
have read the operating instructions and
are familiar with the warnings and safety
instructions.
• The equipment is heavy. Two persons are
needed for unpacking and assembly.
• Do not plug in the plug until the
equipment is fully assembled.
• Place the equipment on a level, stable
surface. Use suitable floor protection
under the equipment. Make sure there is
at least 2 x 1 m of free space behind the
equipment.
• Do not expose the equipment to moisture
or dust.
• Always check before use that all the screw
unions are properly tightened.
• Follow the maintenance instructions for
optimum safety, functionality and
lifespan. Replace any damaged parts
immediately. Do not use the product if it
is not working properly.
• The equipment is tested and certified in
accordance with EN957, class H.C. Only for
home use. Max weight for users: 100 kg.
• The equipment is braked with a strap
drive mechanism.
• The equipment is not intended to be used
for medical treatment.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance
from the equipment. The equipment is
only intended for adults.
• Wear suitable, comfortable clothing when
using the equipment. Do not wear loose-
fitting clothing, ties, scarves, etc., that can
get caught in moving parts. Do not wear
clothes that restrict your movement.
• Avoid bending your back while exercising
– try to keep your back straight.
• Stop exercising immediately and relax if
you experience pain or dizziness.
• The pulse sensor is not intended to be
used in a medical context. The accuracy of
the sensor is affected by different factors,
such as the movements of the user. The
sensor is only intended as an exercise aid,
to show general pulse fluctuations.
• Be careful when lifting and moving the
equipment to avoid injury. Use the correct
lifting technique.
• The equipment has a safety key, which
stops it in the event of emergency
alighting. In an emergency, put both
hands on the handles and put your feet
on the non-slip parts of the frame. Pull
out the safety key from the computer unit
to activate the emergency function.
• Check all moving parts every week and
before use. Do not use the equipment if any
parts are missing or damaged. Repair any
damage before using the equipment again.
