To replace the cutting line on a Stihl FS 55 with an AutoCut C 25-2 or 25-2 head:
1. Press the tabs on the sides of the trimmer head to remove the cover.
2. Take out any remaining line from the spool.
3. Cut a new piece of trimmer line to the recommended length (typically around 13 feet).
4. Insert the line into the eyelet on the side of the head and wind it evenly onto the spool in the direction shown on the spool.
5. Repeat for the second line if needed (some heads require two lines).
6. Reattach the cover by aligning it and snapping it back into place.
Make sure the line is properly seated and extends evenly from both sides.
