Operating blower

Always wear safety glasses and take all safety precautions or serious personal injury may result. Do not point the blow-
er pipe in the direction of people or pets.
IMPORTANT
To avoid motor damage, do not block blower pipe opening. Never run the blower without the blower pipes fitted.
NOTE
Never use a higher speed setting than necessary to perform a task. Remember, the higher the speed, the louder the blower
noise. Minimize dust by using blower at lower speeds. Keep debris on your property. Be Smart - be a good neighbor.

Operation

 Read the Safety Section carefully.
1.
Use only during appropriate hours.
2.
Control blower speed with trigger switch, or for continuous
use, set blower speed with cruise control lever. Rotate cruise
control lever forward for lower speed, back for higher speed.

Use lower speed to blow dry grass and leaves from walks,
patios and drives.
4.
Additional speed may be necessary to clean leaves from a
lawn or flowerbed.
5.
Higher speed may be necessary to move gravel, dirt, bottles
or cans from a driveway, street, parking lot or stadium.
6.
Use the boost button when you want more power for things
that are hard to blow off, such as wet fallen leaves.The motor
speed will return to the original speed when 10 seconds
have passed since entering boost mode or when the boost
button is pressed again.
 The unit stops when the trigger lever is released.
 Trigger lever must be squeezed to put it in boost mode. If
you press the boost button while the motor is not running, it
will not work.
 If you press the boost button while the cruise control lever
is operating, the boost mode will be activated even if you
are not holding the trigger lever.
7.
When working near a house, do not blow air towards open
windows. Debris could be blown into window.
8.
Loosen or break up debris with a rake to make debris easier
to move.
9.
Dampen dusty areas before moving debris to reduce air-
borne dust.
10. Always stop unit using stop procedure.
