Care and Cleaning
During the Auto-Clean Cycle Function:
1. The appliance will brew approximately 5 cups of cleaning solution.
Any remaining solution will be held in the appliance for 30 minutes
before being brewed.
2. The appliance will continue brewing the rest of the solution.
3. When the appliance completes the Auto-Clean cycle (45–60 minutes),
the appliance will shut off automatically.
4. Before using the appliance to brew coffee again, flush water through
through the appliance (see the "Getting Started" section).
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
The appliance does
not turn on.
The appliance
is leaking.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The appliance
is not plugged in.
The Water Reservoir
might be overfilled.
The lid mightnot be
placed correctly on
the Carafe.
The Carafe might not
be placed correctly on
the Carafe Plate.
SOLUTION
Make sure the appli-
ance is plugged into
a working electrical
outlet.
Make sure the Water
Reservoir has not been
filled beyond the 12-
cup line.
Make sure the lid is
correctly placed and
tightened on the Carafe.
Make sure the Carafe
is placed securely onto
the Carafe Plate.
