Getting Started
1.
Remove all packing material, any stickers, and the plastic band around
the power plug.
2.
Please go to www.prodprotect.com/powerxl to register your warranty.
3.
Wash any removable parts as instructed in the "Care and Cleaning"section.
4.
Clean the inside of your appliance by running two full brewing cycles
with water only (no coffee).
a) Pour fresh, cold water into the Water Reservoir up to the 10-cup mark.
Then, place the Carafe on the Carafe Plate:
b) Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
c) Push the Brew Button to immediately flush water through the appliance.
d) Once the cycle is finished, discard the water.
e) Turn off the appliance, unplug it, and let it cool for 15 minutes before
repeating the process.
