Turns on or off the Remote Maintenance Function. It is used
to change the printer's setting or obtain the printer information
using the Remote Maintenance Function.
Turns on or off the Notify Function. E-mail is used for
changing the printer's setting or getting the service person's
information. If the Notify Function is turned on, the service
person's E-mail address is sent to the network administrator
when the printer receives an E-mail from a service person
using the Remote Maintenance Function.
Defines the SMTP server for mail. Enter the IP Address or
server name (maximum of 78 characters) of the SMTP server
to send the printer's information to the network administrator
or a service person using the Remote Maintenance Function.
Contact your network administrator for the server name.
Defines the printer's SMTP port number. Usually "25" is used.
Pressing [Default] resets your modification to the default
setting.
Turns on the APOP (Authenticated Post Office Protocol)
function if the mail server and mail software enable to use the
APOP. The user's password is coded when using APOP. For
the detailed information, see the application's manual or
contact your network administrator.
Defines the printer's POP server for mail. Enter the IP
Address or server name (maximum of 78 characters) of the
POP server to receive a mail from a service person using the
Remote Maintenance Function. Contact your network
administrator for the server name.
Defines the printer's POP port number. Usually "110" is used.
Pressing [Default] resets your modification to the default
setting.
Defines the printer's POP user name registered in the POP
server. Contact your network administrator for the POP User
name.
Defines the password for the printer's POP User name.
Contact your network administrator for the POP Password.
