Selecting Color in the Color Appearance menu:
• Automatic:
This is the recommended setting for most business documents.
• sRGB(Photo):
This is the recommended mode for printing photographic images. It allows closer matching
between the color monitor and printed output. Click on this check button and click [Setting...] (for
the detailed information,
• Vivid(Graphics):
This is the recommended mode for printing line art graphics. It provides more vivid printed output
than the color monitor. Click on this check button and click [Setting...] (for the detailed
information, see "Manually Adjusting the Color Print" on page
• ICM
The printer assigns the best color possible to represent the original color accurately by selecting
different rendering intents. Click on this button, then click [Rendering Intent...].
The Rendering Intent window is displayed. Select the desired rendering intent, which determines
how the printer assigns the color. Rendering Intent is different depending on the operating system
of Windows.

NOTE:
• Image Color Matching is available only when application software has ICM feature and working on
