Do not pound, drop, or throw the radio unnecessarily.

Never carry the radio by the antenna.
•
Avoid subjecting the radio to an excess of liquids.

Do not submerge the radio.
•
Avoid subjecting the radio to corrosives, solvents or chemicals.

Do not disassemble the radio.

Do not use the radio without an accessory connector or a dust cover in place as contamination
can build up on the contacts.

When charging the radio using a wall mounted charger, the radio must be turned off. Otherwise, the
