This ensures that the valve setting functions as described in
chapter 4.4.
There is a threaded hole on the side of the valve.

The supplied holding rod can be screwed in here to attach the
valve to a tripod, for example. The valve works in any position.

4.2 Connecting the material supply

Connect the hose with your dispensing material to the material
inlet of the valve.
If your dispensing material is fluid enough (low viscosity) to flow
independently, it is possible to connect the material to the valve
without additional pressure.
In this case, make sure that the material container is at
least 20 cm above the valve.
Materials with higher viscosity, i.e. more viscous materials, require additional com-
pressed air to reach the valve.
Therefore, supply your material container with compressed air. Observe the maximum
permissible pressure.
For example, metering needles or mixing tubes can be connected
to the material outlet to apply the material with pinpoint
accuracy.
Before use, vent the material hose and the valve in
order to dispense without bubbles.
