• When [ q ] is selected, [ w ], [ e ] or [ r ] is set depending on the type of subject
and brightness.
• When [ e ] or [ r ] is set, the fl ash is activated twice.
Only the following functions can be set in this mode.
[REC] menu
– [PICTURE SIZE] (P54)/[BURST] (P58)/[COLOR MODE] (P59)
The settings which can be set are different from when other recording modes are used.
[SETUP] menu
– [CLOCK SET]/[WORLD TIME]/[BEEP]/[LANGUAGE]
The settings of the following items are fi xed.

[AUTO REVIEW] (P23)
[FLASH] (P36)
[QUALITY] (P54)
[SENSITIVITY] (P55)
[WHITE BALANCE] (P55)

Focus range
• The following functions cannot be used.
– [AUTO LCD OFF]/Compensating exposure/[DIGITAL ZOOM]
• The other items on the [SETUP] menu can be set in a mode such as the Normal Picture
Mode. What is set will be refl ected in the Intelligent Auto Mode.
