"Cannot Find Your Computer" Problems

If you make a PPP connection (signified by the flashing cursor
in the upper-right portion of the screen), but the network
HotSync software can't find your computer, try some of the
suggestions below.
Check the Primary computer
The most common reason for a network HotSync operation to
fail — because it can't find the Primary computer — is that
something is wrong with the Primary computer. In remote
situations, you'll need an associate to help you troubleshoot this
situation. Check the following on the Primary computer:
Is the Primary computer turned on?
Is the Primary computer connected to the network?
Is the HotSync Manager running?
Is the Network menu item checked in the HotSync Manager
menu?
Verify that you performed a Local HotSync operation
If you did not perform a Local HotSync operation right after
you installed the network HotSync software, your Palm III
organizer cannot locate your computer on the network.
