CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE

Your appliance uses the moisture pulled
from the air to cool the condenser coils,
to better cool your air. While this means
less water must be dispelled form the
appliance, continuous drainage is useful
when your appliance is in dehumidifying
mode for extended periods of time. With the
continuous drainage hose connected, the
moisture collected from the air can drain out
the appliance as opposed to collecting in the
water tank. This means you will only need to
empty the water tank when dehumidifying in
high humidity conditions.
To connect a continuous drainage hose:
Ensure the appliance is switched off and
not connected to power.
Locate the main continuous drainage
hole.
Unplug the drainage plug.
Attach the water hose to the continuous
drainage hole.
Ensure the water hose end has a
suitable drainage outlet, such as a drain
or bucket.
Note: Ensure the continuous drainage hose
is not kinked or wrapped around itself.
Note: Ensure that the end of the hose is not
fully submerged in water, to avoid an air lock
in the hose.
Note: When a continuous drainage hose is
connected to the continuous drainage plug,
you will still need to empty the secondary
drainage plug.
