This chapter contains information on how to re-configure the Acer hromebook C732 /
C732T / C732L / C732LT HWID as well as test procedures for your notebook's various
components.
Key Component Replacement and HWID
Re-configuration
When certain key components are replaced, the correct hardware ID (HWID) must be
re-configured:
Battery

Motherboard

WLAN

Keyboard

Camera

Touchpad

LCD panel

WWAN (for C732L & C732LT only)

To re-configure the HWID you must prepare the following items:
An 8 GB or larger USB 2.0 flash drive (USB 3.0 flash drive is not recommended).

RMA.bin
The

component.
Win32DiskImager.exe
The

flash drive.
The HWID re-configuration procedure is outlined in the following flow chart:
