Setting the Temperature Unit °C / °F
Use a thin, non-pointy object (e.g. end of a paper clip) to
press the unit selection key (8) which is located on the
back cover of the unit. Select whether the measured
temperature is displayed in the unit °C or °F.
Replacing the Batteries
1. Replace the batteries when the battery icon is flashing
on the display.
2. Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the small
screw (6) of the back cover of the unit.
3. Carefully pull the front cover from the back cover. The
two parts are connected by clips.
4. Remove the spent batteries and insert two new
batteries of the type LR44 into the battery compartment.
Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries. The
polarity is printed inside the battery compartment.
5. Reassemble the two parts of the cover and secure them
with the small screw.
The battery state is indicated on the display as follows:
