    1. The SPEED CONTROL is used to start stop, and control the speeds of your Oster 12-Speed Electronic Stand Mixer. Clearly marked instructions for correct mixing speeds for each type of mixture are shown i n the mixing guide, page 5. The Speed Control should be in the OFF positron before tilting the mixer head.

    There are two different types of breads in this recipe book, yeast breads and quick breads. Yeast breads contain flour, yeast, liquid, sugar, salt, and fat. These ingredients acting together make the mixture rise. Yeast breads can be made into a dough in the mixer. The dough is kneaded in the mixer or by hand. These kneaded yeast breads are then covered and allowed to rise, usually several times.
