Your wheelchair is designed to provide years of use. Please read this owner’s manual before attempting to operate your Wheelchair. The safety and operating instructions will help you to understand the performance and limitations of your new mobility aid.

  • Page 7 Unpacking and Setting UP Image 1 1. Begin by unpacking the wheelchair and spare parts from the shipping carton 2. Remove packing wrap and stand the chair upright (see Image 1) 3. Install the joystick controller on the armrest (see Image 2) 4.

  • Page 9 How To Unfold 7. Grasp one hand on the back push handle and the other hand on the Image 7 seat frame and separate to unfold the frame (see Images 7 & 8) You will hear the safety clip lock in place when the chair is fully expanded in place correctly.

  • Page 13 Lifting The Armrest 14. Notice the armrest release button on the outside of each armrest (see Image 17) 15. This button is in the locked position when the armrests are down 16. You will not be able to lift the armrest when the armrest lever is in the locked position 17.
  • Page 14 Transferring Onto the Wheelchair Before sitting, make sure the Power is OFF and chair is in electric mode locking the wheels. If you accidently touch the joystick with the power on the wheelchair could move. Transfer onto the wheelchair sideways, then swing around facing forward. A caregiver can push the power wheelchair in manual mode when the chair is powered off and break levers are in manual mode (see Image 20 & 21) If the power is on and in manual mode, the chair will beep to alert you to turn off the power If the power is on you will not be able to push the wheelchair as the wheels will be locked.
  • Page 16 Electric Mode vs Manual Mode (Troubleshooting) If the power is turned off and the brake levers are in electric mode, the wheels will not turn manually Both wheels need to be in the same position (electric or manual) for the chair to function correctly. Pull the brake levers back towards you to engage the manual mode with the joystick turned off and the wheels will turn freely allowing you to push the wheelchair.
