30. DO NOT operate the machine with a
damaged charger power cord
or plug, or after the machine
malfunctions or is damaged in
any way. Contact an authorised Service
Agent for repair or adjustment.
31. The machine must be kept clean and in
good condition with regular inspections
of the charger power cord and plug for
signs of any damage. If any parts are
damaged they shall only be replaced by
an approved part by the manufacturer,
its service agent or a similar qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard

keep cord away from heated surfaces.

handle, close door on cord or pull cord

power cord must be removed from the
socket-outlet when not in use and before
commencing cleaning of the machine or
undertaking maintenance operations.
39. Opportunity / top up charging may
damage the batteries. This may cause the
run time to fall and overall battery life to
be affected. AVOID TOP UP CHARGING.
40. Remove the battery before performing
any service on the vacuum.
41. Recharge only with the charger specified
by the manufacturer. Use of an incorrect
charger may result in no charging and/or
shock
unsafe conditions.
42. DO NOT expose to heat above 100C
(212F)
43. The appliance should be stored only in
the temperature range of -20-35C and
used and charged only in the range of
0-40C
SAFE DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
1.
The
batteries
must
be
neutralised
through
an
approved
secondary
treatment facility prior to disposal as
waste.
2. The battery can be recycled at an
authorised facility, through a licensed
waste carrier.
TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE
1.
Take extreme care when moving the
machine up or down steps or stairs.
2. Incorrect lifting techniques may result
in personal injury. We advise that
the manual handling regulations are
followed. Carefully wrap the charger
power cord and store in dry indoor
location.
3. DO NOT expose the machine to rain or
moisture.
4. When
transporting
the
machine
ensure that all components, tanks and
removable parts are securely fastened,
and that the charger power cord and
plug are not trailing.
STORAGE
1.
Always switch off the machine after use.
2. Store the machine in a dry indoor area
only.
3. Always switch off, empty, wipe down
and dry the machine after use.
GUARANTEE
Your product is guaranteed for one year
from the date of original purchase, or hire
purchase, against defects in materials or
workmanship during manufacture. Within
the guarantee period we undertake at
our discretion, to repair or replace free of
charge to the purchaser, any part found
to be defective, subject to the following
conditions:

original invoice/bill of sale issued at the
time of sale, or the machine Serial No.
5. For claims under this guarantee contact
the supplier from whom you purchased

6. Neither Simplicity nor its distributor
shall be liable for any incidental or
consequential loss.
7. This guarantee is governed by the laws
of England.

replacement of parts due to normal wear
and tear.
10. Damage caused by accident, misuse
or neglect, or the fitting of other than
genuine Simplicity parts.
11. Defects in other than genuine Simplicity
parts,

repairs,
modifications
adjustments performed by other than an
authorised service agent.
12. Costs and risks of transport relating
directly or indirectly to the guarantee of
this product.
13. Consumable items such as power cords,
brushes, drive discs, filters, belts, vacuum
skirts and other similar items.
14. This guarantee does not affect your
statutory rights, or your rights against
the supplier arising from their sales or
purchase contract. Simplicity's policy is
one of continual product development
and we reserve the right to alter
specifications without prior notice.
