When the indicator light is lit, the function
is activated.
To use the hob, deactivate the child safety
lock by pressing the lock symbol. The indi-
cator light is extinguished.
An alarm sounds and the indicator light
starts to flash when an attempt is made to
use the oven and hotplates without first dis-
connecting the child safety lock. Switch the
cooker off. Then press the lock symbol to
deactivate the child safety lock and then re-
start the oven.
AUTOMATIC CHILD SAFETY LOCK
Activate the automatic child safety lock by
pressing and holding the button for five se-
conds, until two loud beeps are heard.
When the automatic child safety lock is ac-
tivated, the child safety lock is automatical-
ly connected for approx. 10 minutes after
the cooker has been used or 60 minutes af-
ter the oven has been used.
Deactivate the automatic child safety lock
by pressing and holding the button for five
seconds, until a loud beep is heard.

FUNCTIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN
ALARM
Over-heated hotplate or oven
The indicator lamp flashes red and the coo-
ker gives an alarm with beeps.
The indicator light for activated functions
will flash and the overheated hotplate or
oven warning light comes on.
To acknowledge a warning where no danger
has arisen, press the OK symbol within 15
seconds in order to avoid the cooker moni-
tor deactivating the cooker.
For 45 minutes after an alarm being ac-
knowledged, the system will not react as
quickly to a similar situation.
Attention!
If the situation following the alarm is cri-
tical and still dangerous, contact the
emergency services immediately.

THE POWER TO THE COOKER
Warning
The hotplates are hot – there is a risk of
burning!
Check that all hotplates and the oven
are turned off.
