Using the Remote Controller

General operation
1. Power button [11]
Switches the power on/standby.
2. Sleep button [15]
Power off the system after a specified time period.
3. Input Selector buttons (DVD, TAPE, TUNER, PHONO,
CD, VIDEO-1, VIDEO-2) [14]
Switch the input.
4. Dimmer button [15]
Change the brightness of the display.
5. Surround Mode button [16, 17]
Switch the surround mode.
6. Multi channel input button [14]
Switches the input selector to MULTI-CH INPUT.
7. Volume up/down buttons [14, 17]
Adjust the volume.
8. Muting button [15]
Mutes the sound temporarily.
Adjusting each speaker's level
9. Channel Selector Button [17]
Selects the speaker for volume adjustment.
10. Level π / † buttons [17]
Raise/lower the respective speaker volume.
11. Test tone button [16, 17]
Outputs a test tone for speaker volume adjustment.

Switches the tuner preset memory group (A/B/C).

Press this button to turn the Karaoke function ON and
OFF.

Adjusts the music in semitone steps (–6 – +6)
:Pitch is raised in semitone steps.
:Pitch is lowered in semitone steps.
16. Vocal cancel [20, 21]
Selects VOCAL CANCEL mode.
