Controlling the graphic
equalizer
You can control the sound by raising or lowering
the levels of specific frequency ranges.
Before operation, first select the audio effect you
want for your basic sound.

Select the audio effect you want for
your basic sound (see "Selecting the
preset audio effect file" on page 76).

Press MODE SELECT repeatedly to
select "Sound Mode", then press PUSH
ENTER.

Move the multi stick toward B or b
repeatedly to select "Equalizer
Control", then press PUSH ENTER.

repeatedly to select a frequency band
(5 steps).

Move the multi stick toward V or v
repeatedly to adjust the level
(9 steps).

Repeat steps 4 and 5.

Press PUSH ENTER when finished.

If you choose another audio effect (other than "Effect
Off"), the adjusted sound effect is lost. To retain the
adjusted sound effect for future use, store it in a
personal file. (See "Creating a personal audio effect
file" on page 77.)
