Troubleshooting

Cause
The fuel tank is empty.
Dirty fuel goes into the engine.
The engine ON/OFF switch is in the
OFF position.
The fuel valve is closed.
There is no oil in the engine.
The fuel filter or the fuel hose is clog-
ged.
The fuel hose is damaged.
The engine ON/OFF switch, the gyro-
scopic switch, the low oil switch or
relay, wires or connectors are dam-
aged.
The engine is cold.
The engine is damaged.
The throttle cable is damaged.
The throttle control and connectors
are loose or incorrectly adjusted.
The clutch shoes are worn.
The engine is damaged.
The throttle cable is damaged.
The throttle control and connectors
are loose or incorrectly adjusted.
The engine is damaged.
The engine ON/OFF switch, the gyro-
scopic switch, the low oil switch or
relay, wires or connectors are dam-
aged.

Solution
Fill the fuel tank.
Clean the carburetor.
Set the engine ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
Open the fuel valve.
Fill engine oil.
Clean the fuel filter and the fuel hose.
Let an approved service center replace the fuel
hose.
Let an approved service center repair the product.
Close the choke.
Refer to the engine manual.
Let an approved service center replace the throttle
cable.
Let an approved service center repair the throttle
control.
Let an approved service center replace the clutch
shoes.
Refer to the engine manual.
Let an approved service center replace the throttle
cable.
Let an approved service center repair the throttle
control.
