3.2 How to Use the Battery

For your convenience, the EB-8's battery can be removed and locked as needed.
Step 1. Use the included keys to unlock the battery via the keyhole under the frame tube (fig.12). To unlock
the battery, insert the key, push it in, and turn it counterclockwise all the way. Then, remove it from
the keyhole.
you must push the key in and turn it at the same time. Remember to unlock the battery and remove
the key before pulling the battery out.
Step 2. Fold the rear wheel / section towards the bike and find the battery's handle (fig.13). Refer to section
2.4 if needed.
Step 3. Lift the handle on top of the battery and use it to pull the battery out from the frame (fig.14).
Step 4. Reinstall the battery and lock it. To lock the battery in place and turn it off, insert the key into the
keyhole and turn it clockwise to the middle position. To lock the battery in place and use it, insert
the key into the keyhole and turn the key clockwise all the way to turn on the battery.
