Flashing red and green LEDs indicate the VCS850 is ready for registration. After power-up, press and hold the REGISTRATION button on the bottom of the unit for five seconds. Release the button, and, with the VCS850 LEDs flashing red and green, perform the registration procedure below.
Getting started Replace a Wireless Speakerphone If you want to replace a VCS850, you must deregister the speakerphones that are registered to the telephone base. To make deregistration easier, read all of the instructions on this page before you begin.
Ringer When the VCS752 rings for incoming calls, the VCS850 rings as well. The VCS850 LEDs flash green, and the ringer will sound (if not muted). To immediately mute the ringer, press MUTE ALL. The ringer becomes active again for the next call.

Appendix Troubleshooting I cannot hear any ring tone from the cordless speakerphone when there is an incoming call. • Make sure the speakerphone ringer volume is not set to the lowest level. • If you have pressed MUTE ALL on the cordless speakerphone when it is ringing, it mutes the ring tone of the speakerphone.
