Configuring Cadence Mode

A cadence defines the duration of the on and off phases of a ringing
cycle. You can use the Tones and Cadences feature on the
Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000) system to configure ring
cadences to identify different types of incoming calls. For more
information about Tones and Cadences on CS 1000, see Features and
Services Fundamentals (NN43001-106).
Attention: Cadence Mode is applicable to traditional DECT systems
To cause your DECT handset to use the ring cadences configured on
your CS 1000 system, you must activate Cadence Mode on your DECT
handset. This allows the PBX system to control the on and off phases of
the ringing cycles on the handset. If Cadence Mode is disabled on your
handset, the handset continuously plays its ringing melody on any
incoming call, irrespective of the Tones and Cadences configuration on
your CS 1000 system.
To activate Cadence Mode on your handset, perform the following steps:
