Party Controls When utilising input from 3rd party controllers, Vaillant controls will require a ‘NC’ operation for the input terminals; the heat pump will start running when there is an open circuit across the terminal. Where it is not possible for a 3rd party controller to provide this, a relay can be used;...

Where a Vaillant controller is used to control each zone, it is recommended to have the ‘Adaptive heat. curve’ setting set to Yes under the system configuration menu. This will allow for the controller to automatically adjust the heat curve for each zone appropriately.
