Huawei OptiXstar W616E-D
Quick Start
In the FTTR all-optical Wi-Fi solution, the W616E-D can work with the Master
FTTR to provide ultra-high-speed gigabit Wi-Fi coverage for the entire house.
In the FTTR solution, only optical fibers need to be used to connect the optical
port of the device. The device is plug-and-play and does not require any
configuration.

When Ethernet upstream and PON upstream are unavailable, the W616E-D can switch to
Wi-Fi upstream to connect to the Master FTTR.
