Obtain a Keycode License

To activate an Application Gateway, you must have a keycode license which you obtain from
Nortel as described in this section. Nortel will notify you when this temporary procedure is
replaced by a self-service procedure.
To obtain a keycode license for an Application Gateway:
Gather the information required to request a license:

The MAC addresses of the Application Gateway Interface 0 (P1), located on the

device's front panel to the right and labelled "MAC1".
Your Nortel Customer Purchase Order Number and Customer Reference Number,

located on the Packing List.
The number and type of IP phones that you need to license.

Send an email to Nortel that contains the following information:

Number of Voice Office Licenses ___________________
Number of Guest Services Licenses ________
You will receive a license file from Nortel within 2 to 3 business days.
After you complete all installation procedures in this guide, install the license file as

described in the Application Gateway Administration Guide.
