The number of obstacles or degrees of open space in the basic service area (BSA)
can affect the actual transmission range of a BayStack 660 Access Point. These
obstacles and open space areas may change the footprint of the BSA; however, the
preliminary calculations are adequate for planning. Refine the information in the
course of conducting a formal site survey and after the installation has been
completed.
Next, use the site survey utility to revise your estimate and finalize your plans.
