Using the BayStack 660 Wireless LAN Access Point

MAC Commands

The MAC commands enable you to configure and to display wireless MAC layer
attributes.
The MAC commands are:
mac beacon-interval— sets beacon interval
mac dtim-period— sets DTIM period
mac frag-threshold— sets fragmentation threshold
mac rts-threshold— sets RTS threshold
mac show— displays MAC attributes
The syntax for the MAC commands is
mac beacon-interval < num_tu >
mac dtim-period < num_beacon_intervals >
mac frag-threshold < num_octets >
mac rts-threshold < num_bytes >
mac show
where:
num_tu is number of time units. Each TU is 1024 micro-seconds ( s).
num_beacon_intervals is the number of beacon intervals.
num_octets is the number of octets.
num_bytes is the number of bytes.
