Energy management
You can connect your device to your
smart energy system (energy manager).
After you have connected your device to
the Smart Energy System (energy manager)
and FlexStart activated, you can optimize
your energy consumption by only starting
your device when your in-house
photovoltaic system provides enough
energy or the electricity tariff is cheap.

Hints
The smart energy system (energy

manager) must use the
communication standard of the EEBus
initiative.
Read beforehand in the instructions for
■
use of the Smart Energy system
(energy manager) how it connects to
your device.
1.
Set the program to position 7.
Appears in the display "Ÿ® (Energy
Manager).
2.
on Start / reload to press.
Your device is now trying to connect to
the Smart Energy System (energy
manager). If the device has successfully
connected,
appears in the display: ™ © Ÿ.
3.
Activate Flexstart if your device is to
be started by the Smart Energy
System (energy manager).
FlexStart
Activate FlexStart, so that your smart
energy system (energy manager) can start
your device when your own photovoltaic
system provides enough energy or the
electricity tariff is low.
A notice:
Your smart energy system
(energy manager) can only start your
device if the smart energy system (energy
manager) and the device are connected
to each other.
Activate FlexStart as follows:
1.
Select the desired program.
2.
With the selection buttons N and M. set
the required time for the Ready in time.
3.
on Start / reload to press.
4th
on Remote start} to press.
Appears in the display±.
the FlexStart is now activated and the
device is waiting for remote start via the
Smart Energy system (energy manager).
If the time in the display changes to, for
example ".‹ Œ, the Smart Energy system
(energy manager) has set a time at which
your device is allowed to start. The
program ends after the specified time.
