3. Call functions

■ Making a call

1. In standby mode, key in the
phone number, including the area
code. Press
the cursor. Press
a number.
• For international calls, press
twice for the
international prefix (+) and
then key in the country code,
the area code without 0, and
the phone number.
2. Press
to call the number.
3. Press
to end the call (or to
cancel the call attempt).
Pressing
ends a call even if
another application is active and
displayed.
You can make a call using your voice
so that you do not need to look at
the display to key in the number. See
"Voice dialling"
on page 24.

Using the Contacts directory

→ Contacts.
Go to
Menu
1. To find a contact, scroll to the
desired name, or key in the first
letters of the name. The Search
field opens automatically, and
matching contacts are listed.

phone number, scroll to the
number and press

Calling your voice mailbox

The voice mailbox (network service)
is an answering service where callers
who are unable to reach you can
leave you voice messages.
• To call your voice mailbox, press
and
mode.
• If the phone asks for the voice
mailbox number, key it in and
press OK. You can obtain this
number from your service
provider.
• To change the phone number of
your voice mailbox, go to
Tools
Voice mailbox
select
Options
number. Key in the number
(obtained from your service
provider) and press OK.
