- Connect the heating elements to earth by means of a screw positioned on the
flange.
- The installation of the heater (hydraulic connection and electrical connection)
and its use must be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with
current safety regulations. General Vapeur declines all responsibility for damage
caused to people or things for all causes deriving from incorrect installation
and operation of the instrument.
- The tightening of the tie rods must comply with the following indications:
Make sure that the gasket is new and undamaged, do not fit gaskets that have already been
tightened previously.
Perfectly clean the surfaces of the flanges eliminating dirt and residues, check that there
are no defects or scratches on the steel flanges.
Grease the bolts on the thread and under the head with copper powder based grease
Screw all the bolts by hand, bringing them close to the flange
Tighten with a torque of around 50% Nm of the total closing hole as shown in the diagram
below
Tighten to 100% Nm of the closing force as shown in the diagram
After at least 5 hours or the following day, tighten the closing force to 100% Nm.
Note: Do not tighten the gasket after it has warmed up, all tightening must be done cold.

Clamping scheme:
For the installation of the Heating Element:
- To tighten, only act on the seats provided.
- Remove the thread protectors being careful
not to damage them.
- Scrupulously avoid knocks and / or falls.
Prescriptions for disposal.
Refer to the laws and regulations of the country where the steam generator is in
service at the time of decommissioning.
The content of the boiler should only be water and lime scale deposits should
therefore not present
before proceeding how the contents must be disposed of.
The boiler without insulation is in stainless steel AISI304, the safety valve in
brass, check the local regulations regarding the disposal of these materials.
The electrical resistance, deprived of all non-metallic parts, is recyclable,
check local regulations for disposal.
