Protect
The PROTECT option in the playback menu allows
you to change the protected status of selected im-
ages. Images can be chosen from a thumbnail menu,
where protected images are marked with a

Hide Image

The HIDE IMAGE option in the playback menu allows
you to change the hidden status of selected images.
Images to be hidden or revealed can be chosen from
a thumbnail menu, where hidden images are marked
with and icons. Hidden images can not be
deleted (although they are erased when the memory
card is formatted), and are not displayed during
playback or slide shows. They are treated as hidden,
read-only files when viewed on a computer.
