* Finishing material must be considered with the protrusion (i.e. P includes framing and fi nish material). If desired,
side and bottom protrusions can be done with 4" (10.1cm) Max.
** This is a recommended minimum dimension when mounting heat-sensitive objects above the appliance, see
"fi nishing" and "minimum combustible mantel clearances" sections particularly when mounting electronic objects.
Otherwise, the built out section can be as minimal as desired.
note:
When fi nished, protrusions must never encroach inside the appliance fi nishing fl ange as this will impede
the fi tment of the safety barrier and safe operation. See "fi nishing" section in the installation manual.
note:
The LV series requires a minimum enclosure height, as illustrated (dimension L), measured from the bottom of
the appliance. For temperature requirements, this area must be left unobstructed. Some venting confi gurations
that require more vertical rise will require a larger enclosure to provide minimum vertical clearance between vent
pipes and combustibles.
