ABBREVIATED GUIDELINES - DE-SCALING WATER SECTOR
(De-scaling only required if you do not use JURA Claris filter)
You know your machine needs
de-scaling when below signals
appear.

de-scaling programme later.
This message only appears,
if the unit is read to draw
off water or steam. is ready
The programme lasts
approx. 45 minutes.

Switch off machine (H).

Allow the machine to cool down
for 5 hours .
Only after machine has

cooled down, remove
the water tank (J) from
the machine and empty
it.
3 Open door (A) and
press this key until you
hear an accoustic
signal.

Empty the tray (V) . Put it
back in after 10 sec.

Completely dissolve the

contentsof one blister (2
tablets) in 0,6 litres of water

in a vessel and pour the
mixture into the water tank
(J). Reinstall the tank. Make
sure it engages properly.
Use JURA de-scaling
tablets only, which are
available at your local
authorized dealer.
