Place bench top on a smooth, non-marring surface
with top side facing down.
2. Four channels are supplied with top. Loosely attach
two channels to ends of top with four ¼" - 20 x
5⁄8" bolts, leaving approximately 1⁄8" between bolt
heads and channel. Channels should rest between
flange and top. (See Figure 3)
note: four weld nuts are provided in each
channel.
3. Bolt two additional channels to holes approximately
141⁄4" from either end of top using ¼" - 20 x 5⁄8"
bolts as above. (See Figure 3)
4. Insert two ¼"- 20 x 5⁄8" bolts into weld nuts in each
channel leaving about 5⁄8" between channel and
bolt head. (See Figure 4)
5. Remove top two drawers or open cabinet doors.
6. Place cabinets squarely 30" apart for 60" tops, or 42"
apart for 72" tops.
7.
Set top assembly on cabinets, placing bolt heads in
key hole slots, then slide forward. (See Figure 5)
8. Position top so that ends of top are flush with side of
cabinets and tighten all screws.
9. Replace drawers or close cabinet doors.
