Technical documentation
Max and minimum gas pressure adjustments can be made by means of the gas valve respecting the values
shown on the tables relating to each boiler for the type of corresponding gas.
The features of this appliance are such as to make it possible to differ minimum pressure adjustments
during operation in heating and hot water phases.
The gas valve minimum pressure adjustment does in fact correspond to the minimum pressure in hot
water phase (6,000 kcal/h) while, with regard to heating. the minimum pressure (8,000 kcal/h) can be
adjusted by means of a trimmer positioned on the modulation board (see modulation board adjustments).
- VALVE SIT 845
After connecting a differential pressure
gauge, the sockets of which must be
positioned at the outlet of the gas valve (4)
and at the positive pressure point located
in the upper part of the sealed chamber
(see illustration alongside),
follows:
Adjusting maximum pressure
- Take a sample of hot water after setting
the temperature switch at maximum.
Remove the protection cap (6) and turn nut
"3" clockwise to increase the pressure and
anticlockwise to decrease pressure.
Adjusting
minimum
pressure
(to be done after adjusting max pressure)
-
After
interrupting
modulation coil, turn the red screw "2"
clockwise to increase pressure to the
burner and anticlockwise to decrease
pressure.

- CHANGING TYPE OF GAS

Adaptation to a type of gas different to that for which the boiler is intended, can be done by using the special
kits (natural gas or LPG).
The changeover consists in replacing the burner nozzles and in moving to the modulation board of the
"NATURAL GAS- LPG" (JP1).
The minimum and maximum pressures of the hot water are then set on the gas valve in the way
described above.
Adjustment of the minimum and maximum power during the heating phase can be done afterwards by
means of the respective trimmers mounted on the modulation board (see modulation board operation).
The burner ignition pressure is not adjusted because the type of board operation does not require such
setting (see modulation board operation).
