Remote control and display

Operation varies depending upon the disc version in use. For details, refer to the manual for the DVD ROM.
a Be sure to apply the parking
brake before starting the menu
operation, otherwise the menu
operation cannot be performed.
a If an operation is not accepted,
the navigation system beeps.

a Adjust the volume with the
control on display monitor, etc.

Rotary encoder
This has multiple functions. In map displays, zooms in or out;
in list displays, scrolls list pages; in coordinate inputting,
moves cursor; in alphabet inputting, moves alphabetical
characters.
ENTER button
Selects a highlighted item in the menu when the
button is pressed.
Press this button until a click sound is produced to
execute your selection.
MENU button
Displays the menu screen.

VOICE button
Press this button for voice
guidance. (Real time voice
guidance)
DEST (Destination)
button
Displays street name inputting
screen.
ROUTE button
Pressing this button searches for
the route again and switches
between motorway preference and
ordinary road preference for route
searching.
POWER On button
Turns the pictorial display on.
Power OFF button
Turns the pictorial display off.
BS button
Deletes the character previously
input.
Numeric Keypad
• Use these buttons to enter phone

Remote control transmitter
This section transmits the remote control signals.
Point toward the monitor display for operation.
