REMOVING THE FRONT SIDE COVER
ASSEMBLY AND HEADLIGHT COWLING
1. Place the vehicle on a center stand.
WARNING
Securely support the vehicle so that there is
no danger of it falling over.
2. Remove.
• Front upper cover "1" by removing screws "2"
and gently pull outward from its slots.
• Front side cover assembly (right) by remov-
ing bolt "1".
• Front side cover assembly (left) by removing
bolt "2".

TIP
Carefully remove side cover "1" from lugs "2"
and latches "3" from its projection.

• Headlight cowling assembly "1" by removing
screws "2" from both sides.
• Headlight cowling bracket bolts "3"
TIP
• Before removing headlight cowling disconnect
both wire harness holding clamps as shown.
• Gently remove headlight cowling assembly
with bracket in outward direction to release
from its projection.
