REMOVING THE SEAT/STORAGE
COMPARTMENT
1. Place the vehicle on a center stand.
WARNING
Securely support the vehicle so that there is
no danger of it falling over.
2. Open:
• Seat
3. Remove:
• Seat/storage compartment
TIP
Remove the screws "1" from both sides and
bolts "2" from storage compartment as shown.
INSTALLING THE SEAT/STORAGE
COMPARTMENT
1. Install:
• Seat/storage compartment
TIP
Ensure seat/storage compartment is set proper-
ly on its original position before tighten the bolts
and both side screws.
Seat/storage compartment bolt
9 N·m (0.9 kgf·m, 6.6 lb·ft)
Fuel tank cover screw
1.8 N·m (0.18 kgf·m, 1.3 lb·ft)
GENERAL CHASSIS

REMOVING THE CENTER COVER

1. Remove:
• Seat/storage compartment
Refer "REMOVING THE SEAT/STORAGE
COMPARTMENT" on page 4-4.
• Center cover "1"
TIP
Remove the center cover "1" by removing bolt
"2" and screw "3" from both side then remove the
latches from the slots by pulling it in forward di-
rection.

INSTALLING CENTER COVER

1. Install:
• Center cover "1"
TIP
• Install the center cover "1" by fix the latches "2"
into the slots "3" as shown by pressing it in
backward direction.
• Tighten the screws to the specified torque.

1.8 N·m (0.18 kgf·m, 1.3 lb·ft)
2. Install:
• Seat/storage compartment
